Helping you feel supported through pregnancy, postpartum, and life transitions on Long Island and beyond.
I’m Courtney, a Postpartum Therapist on Long Island, New York, and I specialize in supporting individuals through perinatal mental health challenges, including pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition into parenthood.
If you are searching for a therapist for postpartum anxiety, support for postpartum depression, or guidance through the emotional changes of motherhood, you are in the right place. I provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health counseling on Long Island for individuals navigating these deeply personal and often overwhelming experiences.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in creating a safe space where you feel heard and supported. I believe therapy should feel like a partnership. Together, we explore your experiences, build on your strengths, and develop tools to help you manage stress, anxiety, depression, and emotional overwhelm.
I specialize in perinatal therapy, supporting clients through:
Postpartum anxiety and postpartum depression
Pregnancy-related anxiety and emotional distress
Birth trauma and difficult birth experiences
Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs)
Identity changes and adjustment to parenthood
My approach to treatment is integrative and flexible, drawing from multiple evidence-based modalities to meet your unique needs. I focus on helping you build coping skills, emotional regulation strategies, and self-care practices that support long-term well-being.
In addition to perinatal mental health, I am an EMDR-trained therapist, offering support for individuals looking to process trauma, distressing memories, or past experiences that continue to impact their present life.
My goal is for you to leave therapy feeling more grounded, more empowered, and more connected to yourself as you move through life’s challenges.
A little about me
I’m a mom to two energetic toddlers, so I understand firsthand the intensity and beauty of this stage of life. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, doing crafts, reading, going for walks, and playing with my boys whenever I can.
